Hi , @Anonymous , Monday 19 December , when I started my KD-43XD8305B tv set , it appeared in Home > Recommended Apps a new icon named Amazon Video ( that I have not installed it ) , between Netflix and FilmBox Live icons . Also , I found this application in the Home > Settings > Applications > System Apps and Started Apps and have 24.21 MB . How did this application appeared , if , as I said , I have not installed it ? Thanks !

Hi there

I am on the assumption that you are not in the UK as you would have already had the Amazon app on the TV long ago. Amazon recently announced (6 days ago) that they have rolled out their services to 200 more countries. In keeping with the standard set - the Amazon app was rolled out by Sony on these Android TV sets yesterday. This app will remain as a 'built-in' app. Similar to Netflix etc.

Hi , @Quinnicus , as you suspected , I am not in UK , I am in Romania and I suspected before I write you , that is an application offered by Sony to Android TV owners . Thanks !
