Sony Bravia not switching on

I have a Sony Bravia which I switched off last night. I switched it back on this morning and got four colourful circles and then the TV switched off. It then began turning itself on and off. Have many other Sony owners had this problem? Sony, are you aware of this issue? Any plans to recall affected models? Any plans to replace these faulty TVs in order to maintain some modicum of respect with your customers?
