Juddering in live football mode

This evening I was streaming some live football via my PS4 onto my new Sony Brava X90C and when I turned it to live football mode the image juddered or stuttered a great deal. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi there

Try experimening with the motion flow settings and picture mode in the display settingd to see if that has any effect.

Thanks Quinnicus. I spent a great deal of time during the game experimenting with these settings with no real success. The effect seemed to disappear when the tv picture mode was set to standard though.

My assumption is that this must be something to do with the device I'm streaming it from. My PS4 is connected to the tv via an HDMI cable. I will have to experiment with some live football that does not come via the PS4 to be certain though. Are you able to suggest any fixes or avenues for investigation if this is the cause?
