KDL-50W809C - Issues and features not working

Recently purchased this and I'm a bit shocked.

1. HDD recording does not work. This is one of the main reasons I purchased the TV.

2. Has issues picking up USB key (which works in my other TV).

3. Need to reboot every other day.

4. When powered off I hear almost a power discharge sound. Almost like the sound when you first turn on your PC. As this happens multiple times I have started unplugging it from the wall in case of damage.

5. Apps freezing all the time.

6. Only picks up a hand full of channels compared to my other TV.

What can be done? How can Sony release a TV which does do what it says on the tin!

How can they sell TV's where the main features do not work. The sale of goods act must cover this? Time to have a look!!
