XR-55A80K - Volume Control Issues via ARC

My XR-55A80K is connected to a Panasonic SA-BTT190 Home Cinema, exactly as my previous Bravia (a KDL-40HX) was, via HDMI (ARC) and Optical Digital.

The volume control on the Panasonic has a range of 0 - 100, in single unit increments, however when controlled via the new Bravia, the volume is limited to a range of 30, like 10 - 40 or 20 - 50, depending on how the volume was set when the Panasonic was switch on (automatically on the TV is switched on). The volume can be changed without any issues using the Panasonic remote but I want to control all functions on a single remote.

The ARC seems to be working in principal as it starts up and shuts down the home cinema as expected, there is just a limitation on the volume.

Any help or suggestions will be gratefully received.
