Significant audio delay when using AirPlay Screen Mirroring

My 2024 Sony Bravia 8 OLED has a significant audio delay when sharing screen using AirPlay to the TV. Watching movies/videos is fine just when sharing the whole screen. I would like to watch things like TikTok or videos on my phone on the screen using AirPlay but that isn’t really possible with the big audio delay. I suspect it’s a Sony software glitch as I haven’t experienced this on other TV brands. Not sure if this will lead to a potential fix but any help is appreciated.

I've been in contact with Sony support for three months regarding this issue. I even got a replacement unit from my retailer, but the problem persists. AirPlay consistently suffers from audio lag, and tweaking settings doesn't help at all.

I own an A95L model, and the issue was identical on both TVs. I've tested this across several source devices (various iPhones, MacBooks, Mac mini, and Android phones)—every single one experiences the same delay during AirPlay or screen mirroring. Sony does not come with a solution even tho the TV is under warranty. I hope they will still try to help me.
