MESSAGING STOPPED WORKING

When I open the "Messaging" option, it automaticly become off showing the message " Message unfortunately stopped"
My device's android version is 4.2.2

It has some other problems, such as when I keep it in my pocket locked, some apps opens automatically

What can I do ??

For the message app,try settings-apps-all-messages,force stop and clear data.

For apps opening themselves,do you have a screen protector?

I just use pattern lock, no other protector

No that kind of protector,I am talking about physical screen protector (film).

I'm getting this to. I've cleared data checked with network made sure settings are correct still stops working. It's just with media messages I've also checked storage
