Hi everyone... I just used the frameroot app to root my xperia c. At first everything was going well, until I decided to install a cm app (cyanogenmod app which recently were available for all roms to install) -what a mistake it was- I installed the messaging app, but it didn't work. Then I uninstalled it but my original messaging app was removed also. Anyone knows how to get it back? I know that I can bring it back via pc by repairing software, but I wanted to know if there was an easy way.
Thank you.

So it's still there which means I think you may need to perform a Settings reset and the best way to do this is to open Settings then Apps and swipe to all then scroll down the list untill you see Settings then open it and tap on Clear cache and Clear data then reboot and test to see if it's back - If that fails then it looks like a complete repair back to factory settings

If you have root then try installing something like Titanium and uninstalling the messaging app then via my 1st post above reinstall the app via the link

You may have to open titanium and if possible convert the sms app to a system app to get it fully working - if that fails then sorry to say but a full factory reset will be required then try using a different root method - I do not advise Framaroot or Vroot or any of these Chinese type rooting apps as they rend to install alot of other apps - You could try using Doomlords method if available or Root with restore by Bin4ry I think last time I check it was on v33 but it could well be a different version now
