I'm afraid this headset is not compatible with Xperia C3. It's made for phones with a 5-pole headset jack like Z2 and Z3.

You can use the headphones BUT the noise cancelling feature it is not supported.

In my opinion, there are no best headphones and there can't be. There are just so many.

You get what you pay.

It's about your choice. For example do you like bass more or do you want a balanced sound or you're an audiophile. Also do you like the "in the ear type" or "over the ear" type. You should actually try one in local stores before buying.

I've used a lot of heaphones from sony and right now I'm using MDR-XB70AP.

Availability of heaphones vary with country to country. http://www.sony.net/electronics/

One thing to note is heaphones with only CTIA standard are gonna work with your phone. Majority of headphones are CTIA standard.
