Avg anti-theft locked my C3 dual

Hi, I badly need help.. I was disabling my Sim 1 and then the Avg Anti-Theft just popped up. I tried putting in the password to no avail (I think it doesnt recognize the password anymore, or I just forgot the **bleep** password). What option do I have to fix this, I dont care about the contacts or any file.

Tried doing the Hard reset thing with the Volume up and down + power botton, but it just keep vibrating.

Please help

Perhaps you can login to their web interface and manage to unlock it from there:

Otherwise, I suggest that you perform a software repair on your phone via PC Companion:
http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you when and how to connect it.

I have one concern "Start on Update the phone/tablet software" about this line, what if I have the latest software. Will it still work?

https://www.avgmobilation.com already tried this unfortunately, the homepage indicated that there are no device registered on my email.

Also, how long is it going to take for me to repair the phone?

Yes, it will still work. When performing a software repair, the latest software available for your device will be installed or in this case, the software will be reinstalled. Meaning, all your data on the device will be deleted and you need to configure your phone from scratch.

Hard to say how long it will take since the repair process depend on the speed of your internet connection and your computer.
