transfer interrupted help plz

Hello my phone warn 75% memory full when I enter this notification then it's show transfer data of image video music to sd card and my card is about 6 gb free.when I enter then an error comes transfer interrupted check sd card possibilities.can't find any solution yet help me.

As above,do not use the inbuilt option from settings-storage. Do it using file commander with cut/paste.

I am using file commander bro. But I want to know how can I use that. There is also inbuilt software name backup and restore that also is not working. Then why sony is making this type of software which is useless

Go to settings > about phone > which android version and build number do you have? have you encrypted the phone?

Android version 4.4.2 and build no 19.2.A.0.72.. I haven't encrypted the phone and I don't know how to encrypted and what is encrypted.

Wowww I got the solution I just delete the image file which contains: symbol... And its working so nice... Yippee

Because I just ran into this problem as well.

The following characters are illegal in file names on SD cards:

> < : " / \ | ? *

Also, a single '.' is legal, but multiple '.' characters are illegal.

They're not illegal on the internal storage.

It'd be nice if the transfter software checked the filename and handled it gracefully. I recommend avoiding file names containing anything but a to z 0 to 9 and underscore _ or minus -.

I own xperia c3 dual.
Its internal memory is 75% full ..so i have to transfer data to sd card but transfer is not successful nd a messge appears as transfer interuppted..check ur sd card for possibly interupted data.. Although sd card is good and has a lot of free space..still nothing can be stored in sd card..
Plz help asap..
