topic Xperia C4 Turning Itself off When in Pocket or "Tossed" in C Series

So I'm on my second C4 now and I hope I'm not running into the same issue. On my first phone, which I kept in my pocket during school, started shutting itself off after a year. I noticed it usually was in my pocket, then the slightest toss on the couch turned it off. It wouldn't turn on after, until I literally hit the phone against my wrist for a minute or two. My now current phone has turned itself off twice today, once in my pocket, and once after a toss. We replaced the battery on the first one to no avail, and this new one I got for Christmas 2017. Any help is appreciated.
