Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped (Sony Xperia c5 Ultra dual)

Whenever I try to access my contact and try to dial any contact receive this message "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped"

Two day ago i have new update on my Sony Xperia c5 Ultra dual(E5563) Android version - 6.0

Some new features add in setting, change icons etc. Running smooth for 1 day but from last day contact app not working, i can't check any contact or dial. Please Help .

Go To:

1. Settings

2. Apps

3. Three dots on the right top

4. Show System

5. Contact

6. Memory

7. Clean everything (before do copy, coz will erase everything)

8. Restart smartphone

That's must help you

I had the same problem after update to Marshamallow with SMS app, the same guide helped me. If will not help, try to repair smartphone with Xperia Companion

I am also having same issue, unable to see the contacts. Sony C5 Ultra E5563. Jan 30th OS got updated from 5 to 6, since then its stopped working.

Please post the details if anyone able to get the resolution for the same.

After updating this version in Sony c5 have lot of problems camera image quality low

And so many apps unfortunately stopped getting irritating
