Xperia L1 not starting, not charging.

I have the Xperia L1 and having major problems with not turning on and not charging. It is part charged and the notification light is flashing but I cannot turn the phone on. When I call the phone from a landline I get the message request seemingly because the phone is turned off, which it can't be because the notification light showing. Totally confused! Any help please?

@miqspix simultaneously push the volume up and power button until the phone vibrates 3 times to shut down (about 20-30 seconds). After this, put your phone to charge for a couple of hours and try to turn it back on.

No vibration. No response. But the notification light is still flashing.

@miqspix did you respect the timeframe? If yes and still no response, try to contact your local support.
