WhatsApp media not autodownloading on G3311

Hi I have an Xperia G3311, and my photos will never ever auto download, I have to click on them to initiate the download!

It's on WiFi, the battery saver mode is off and WhatsApp is set to auto download on WiFi.

Any ideas why it's not working correctly?

Is there any way to force downloads?

Hi @Greyzilla, since it's already set to auto download, it could be an app bug, so I'd recommend uninstalling & reinstalling the app and checking again, just make sure to create a WhatsApp backup before you uninstall.

I tried that to no joy, is there a way to check if any rules and stopping the process?

Hello @Greyzilla, are you sure you have enough space on your phone? It may be running out of space and that's why it can't download media automatically.
