Phone ringer starts ringing but no incoming call

Hi I have this problem while the phone is charging the phone will start to ring but there is no incoming call cannot stop it ringing have to switch it off and restart in order to stop it this happens randomly no set pattern any help would be great thank you

@Km1961 Can you boot in safe mode and see if the same occurs?

When the phone rings, is the ring the same as your Ringtone or completely different?

It is the same ring tone as my ring tone it normally happens when the phone is charging this problem has just started within the last week

I'm having the same issue with my Xperia z2 for the past 2days. I changed the ringtone and the sound changed too. I reset my phone and it is still rings without phone call when charging. And I noticed that my phone temperature is kinda high when it's happening but nothing extreme.

Update: Since i changed my charger, it didn't happen again. Side note: sony chargers and cables are the worst.

I have the same problem. It usually rings in the mornings. Same signal as standard ring signal. To make it stop I have to restart the phone.

Sometimes the clock also change size by itself but the phone does not scale so half the clock disappears.

How did you solve thi ringing?

I'm currently experiencing the problem of the phone ringing and no incoming call. What is the fix for this? It wasn't discussed.

My Sony Xperia D6503 will suddenly start ringing incessantly with the same ring as an incoming telephone call. I look at all the possible incoming signals such as incoming call, wake up call, text message, voice mail - everything. This even happened once while the phone was charging. I can find nothing to “answer”, so I turn the phone off. When I restart the phone, it works fine for a few hours, sometimes a few days - but the problem always returns. Does anyone have any idea what is going On?

My phone is keep ringing even no incoming calls, it wont stop! The only thing to stop it is to restart my phone. Its annoying. Please help.

Test the phone in safe mode for few hours, report back if you experience the same issue.
