Lock Screen Wallpaper set but not updating?

This is what happened after the ICS update, after i choose my selected wallpaper for my lock screen, I go over to my lock screen and then it is still displaying my live wallpaper which is not what I wanted. Sony, you may want to check regarding this. My SI Number is 1257-0987 and I am from Singapore, just in case if you need these set of information.

I have the opposite problem, I changed my wallpaper just out of curiousity, and now have no way of changing it back to my live wallpaper. Any ideas?

ok this is how to do it

1st set the live wallpaper

2nd settings ->display > lock screen settings > wallpaper > select the picture

done you have a live wallpaper and a different picture at the lockscreen

Yes, I did them in order :smileyhappy:, but it still wouldn't work. I always do that in an order.

The lock screen wallpaper on mines is ok. What i got some problems is with the Themes, they are not live anymore after the update. what you think i might be doing wrong?. I have tried chanding it, Emerald, Turqoise, but nothing. it looks like if it is a picture, it doesnt do anything whe you scroll the screen.

Never mind i just figured it out. now we have to go to wallpaper and choose cosmic flow. before ics you just had to pick the theme and it was live. now it doesnt. you gotta go to live wallpaper

Have you tried rebooting the phone to see if the changes take effect. If not I would like to know how many of you who still get this problem after repairing the phone software via PC Companion.

If anyone was having the same problem as me. Going into settings>apps>all>lock screen and clearing data will revert your lock screen wallpaper to default.

I have the same problem when I select the wallpaper under display>lock screen settings, the selected photo does not show when phone is locked when screen unlock method is pattern/ pin/ password etc. the photo only shows under slide method.

Phone sw was upgraded in one session without error messages.

Pls fix this. Thanks.

Hi, I did and like what SWNG has said, the lock screen wallpaper only appears for the slide security lock only, if i use pin or pattern, it will not show up

still same problem when you choos slide security lock no problem ,but , if you use pin or pattern , any change in lock screen wallpaper will not change any thing in lock screen !!!

it does work in only slide,,but doesnt works in other options,pattern,password,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,can u plez check it ,,in my mobile it doesnt works out,,waiting for reply,,,,,,,,,,,thanks
