Sony Xperia Neo not turning on

Hi. I wanted to updated my phone to ICS. I followed all the instruction in the thread http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239 .. WHile flashing it said... Flashing loader.. then an Error occucred and it aborted flashing. Now my Mobile wont turn on at all. Even when i connect to charger the warning light also doesn`t show a red colour for charging(like it used to). Now even PC is not detecting the mobile and not even SUS. Please tell me what to do.....

was your phone charged at least to 50% when you started the flashing process?, try this

1st remove the battery

2nd press and hold the power button for 10-15seconds

3rd put the battery back on

4th DO NOT attempt to turn it on

5th connect it to a wall charger and wait 30min or so

First of all thanks for a quick reply ....well... sadly i did try turning it on before your reply... one thing that is different now that when i did turn it on... the warning light blinked green once and the mobile vibrated... then it turned off again and no response .. I pressed the power button again and no response.. but when the remove and reinserted the battery the same thing happened.. SO i tried to repair it with SUS... when i connect with with USB cable the green light stay on and my PC detected the mobile... but after a few seconds the light goes off and systems doesn't detect device any more..

also did what you advised me... currently it is connected to charger but the charging light is still not on ... does this mean that my mobile is beyond repair since there are no sony ericson repair shops where i am currently living !

I would do what I'd suggested and leave it connected for 1 hour or so then take the battery out and repeat the process. the next step will be to borrow a battery.

thanks again for the quick reply... OK i will leave it with charger for now... I just hope it gets back to normal... dont want ICS anymore.. just my phone as it was before

OK I took it off charging... Now When I connect it to my PC.. the red light keeps blinking and the system says that a USB has Malfunctioned and is not recognizable. If i press teh power button the red light blinks three times and nothing else happens....

Does it vibrates? have you tried another computer?

OK I now know whats wrong with my mobile. I have damaged my Bootloader... Please can anyone tell me how to fix the bootloaders ?

Thank you very much Uliwooly..... I finally fixed my mobile.... I also understand what the problem was... I had damaged the bootloader + battery was also empty. When I started to flash my mobile with flash utility it started flahsing but since mobile was low on battery ...it used to shutdown in process .... On the other hand ... what i was seeing on screen was that flash utility used to get stuck IF theat different places.... so i kept it flashing again and again and one time i completed the flash and WALAAAH.... mobile was perfectly ok ... So when red light blinks three times that means that battery is dead... EVEN if you have a corrupted leader....

A cell will be bricked if it doesn't respond at all to anything even the led light will stop working

@Uliwooly. Thanks bro. U r a life saver. I slept at night and when i woke up my phone was not turning on and whenever i connected it to the PC it showed phone malfunctioned. The phone wasn't charging and whenever i tried to turn it on orange light blinked three times. I then following your advice here took the battery out held press the power button for 20sec then my phone was perfectly charging after 45 min i turned it on and it was volaaa.

i just bought this phone last dec 22 so its imposible that the usb cables is broke. it just keep on blinking red light.. help please

if you just bought this phone, you should return it/exchange it, at least thats what I would do
