Whatsapp is not working

Whatsapp is not working in xperia tipo. Error is that its not able to connect to internet. But internet is working, browser, facebook, google play are working fine. Please help

There isn't much of what you can do, it's due to either poor network coverage or slow network coverage/data plan

Try connect your phone to wifi and open it

Even I was facing this problem, and all I was missing was, I had to enable "Install Web Scripts" options..

So to do this,

Go to Settings->Accessibility->And tap on "Install Web Scripts", below which you will see "allowed"..

By default, it will be "not allowed", so allow the WhatsApp to install web scripts in your phone, then you are good to go..

And even then you are not able to use WhatsApp, just uninstall it, go to Google Playstore, reinstall it, and you will be able to use it, but "Install Web Scripts" MUST be set to "allowed"..

I did both of the above actions, only then it worked for me, let me know how it went for you..

I am not able to see install webscript option in c4 . Can you please guid eme on this ?

I am also seeinh network fluctuation problem . are you also facing the same?

I am having Sony Experia mobile ( model no.MT11i, Android version 4.0.4) The cell is not in use and kept aside for long time. As I have to give my Samsung mobile for repair, I put that mobile in use. Every thing I'd fine except whatsApp. When attempting to upgrade or instainstall new version, a message stating that " Sorry, WhatsApp was unable to complete initialization. Please check that You are connected to the internet and try again". In fact the cell is connected to WiFi and signal are also being displayed. Please guide me and help me to resolve this issue.
