My Xperia t can't connect to the PC via USB cable.

Xperia t can't connect to PC via USB cable,

Again and again LED light blinks and connected and disconnected then my cell restarts.

I have changed USB cable, connect to other Laptops and computers but same result.

Neither I have root or flash my Xperia t...... Please help me.

Download and install PC Companion from our website:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

If you already have it installed on your PC, you can try to reinstall the program.

There are a couple of problems with my xperia T the most prominent and annoying 1 is everytime i switch it off it losses track of time. and i can access it without entering a pin or password even though they are activated... It can not connect to USB and iv tried all the methods you listed

dear sir i try lot of time to connect my xperia to my pc laptop & office pc,but i have problem with connectiviti.

my phone usb dubbing mode is on . in divice only show light but in pc not show sd memory or divice memry mand i chang data cable 2 other try to connect .and my mobile factory reset by all methods .i instolled sony combenion which work properly other sony divice,

please give me proper solution,thank you!

I also have this problem! I have tried other phones, other usb cables and nothing is working!
My phone connected fine a few weeks ago but since then I have had an update on my laptop (not sure if this is anything to do with it?!)

My laptop recognises my phone when it's in charge mode, but when I change to transfer files nothing happens.

Also tried device manager and updating driver but apparently I have no driver thingy on here 😕
I have the Xperia companion which also doesn't detect my phone while plugged in!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was having same problem but after i restarted my phone and pc everything works fine.

After 2 days an various failed attempts I found a simple solution to this issue.

Go into developers mode on your phone

on the L1 this is settings>about phone

tap build number till you enter developer mode

go back to the pevious page and enter developers options

scroll down to networking>select usb configuration

under this option click mtp mode go back to the main page and switch the phone off and on again.

now when you plug the phone in it sould be detected

Hi,

I am struggling since longer time to connect my Sony F5121 (Xperia X) device via USB to my Windows 7 Enterprise or Windows 10 Home laptop.

What did I try?

Installed last version of the Xperia Companion

Developer Settings - USB Debugging

Developer Settings - USB Configuration - MTP

Developer Settings - Revoke USB debugging authorisations

Factory reset and all from the beginning

Restart my Sony device and the laptop

tried different USB ports and cables (basically the cable I used is working for the Sony Xperia III Compact of my wife without any problems).

Random order of the actions above helped once or twice and I could strangely connect and saw all in the windows explorer, so I believe it cannot be a hardware issue.

My patience is running out, I read several posts online, nothing helped to get a stable solution. I just do not want to random actions to get surprisingly the connection. I really like the Sony devices but thinking of changing the brand because this is just inacceptable.

Please help!!!
