In addition, do I understand you correctly in that the device does not boot while a SIM is inserted?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may try resetting the device from the device settings, but aside from that I am sorry to say that it would be best to have a technician at an authorized service center examine it for you. Since the device has reached end of support, this may not be possible as they generally don't have spareparts or access to software repairing it, but to hear what options you may have locally in your market you may contact your &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/Local+support/pd-p/contact_us" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="13-1"&gt;Local support&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
