Thanks for the post, can you please clarify if you are refering to using the phone underwater like the touch screen for example, or did you want to know if the XZ had an IP rating?

Just like the iPhone 7 and Samsung S7 it's water resistant, not waterproof. You can use it in the rain, or accidentally splash it with water but you should never submerge it.
