Each time I restart my personal settings are changed to default settings. What to do ?

I recommend that you make sure demo mode isn't active on your device. To do so:

From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
Find and tap Phone.
Open the dialer by tapping the button with the 9 dots at the lower end of the screen.
Tap *#*#73556673#*#*

If you get the option to enable retail demo mode, press cancel. As the mode is not enabled then.

I would also recommend that you make sure that you are not using a guest profile. To do so go to: Settings > Users > Tap You (name).

Many thanks for your advice. However, it still does not work. Once I restart, I still have to activate gmail synchronisation and screen rotation.

Then I recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode. This is to see if this behavior is caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.
