Companion - Messages cannot be saved (previous posts advices & FAQ followed)

Dear Sony phone users,

Please help

- Device model XPERIA X COMPTACT (F5321)
- Android version 8.0.0
- Concern: companion does not save messages
- What I've already tried in order to troubleshoot the issue: updating the soffware, rebooting my computer, rebooting by phone and try creating a new backup and uncheck "Other" under "My data", rebooting by phone and try creating a new backup and uncheck everything apart from "messages", consulting Sony FAQ, consulting forum previous posts

Anytime I save my phone data using companion a message states that my messages couldn't be saved (all other data except a few pictures are saved without problem).

Try a 3rd party app.

Besides, are those messages that important?

I also try to save messages but sometimes I lose them.

Never ever missed them afterwards.

And if something is very special for you then I suggest you make a screenshot of that message.

Yes they are and above all I wish I could trust a brand like Sony but I was wong. My next mobile phone won't be a Sony.
