Sony's 2 year commitment to phones on updates broken 2 months ago

I have the Xperia 1 3 XQ-BC52 andriod 12 and the phone is 15 months old (release date) I have not had a security patch since August 1st security patch release, deliverd on 12th sept. It is now the 6th Novemeber with no monthly security updates.

This is unacceptable. It has made me rethink what my next upgrade phone will be

So many issues unpatched!

XQ-BC52 (Xperia 1iii) is currently rolling out an update with security update 2022-10-01

Security updates tend to come the month after release by Google
