USB port liquid or debris alert on and off continuously

I am unable to stop the alert telling me the USB port is disabled and then enabled. The phone will not charge unless rebooted with the charging cable in. I have tried hard reset and that hasn't fixed it. Also tried stopping the USB app in systems but that hasn't worked. Nothing in the USB port as far as I can see

@SteveF Can you tell us the model name of the device so we would be able to check it as mentioned here?

QX-BT52 Xperia L10 I believe

Hey @SteveF

The XQ-BT52 refers to the Xperia 10 lll. I'd recommend trying the device in safe mode and check again.

Then try to perform software repair by the Xperia Companion

If the issue still remains, you will need to contact Sony to arrange a service for the device
