Is there any chance Sony will support the Microsoft Phone Link PC app to allow the features available to Samsung phones?

E.g. file transfer, running apps etc

Hi, simply looking to have a bit more functionality between the phone(5iii) and the PC using the Your Phone App. The Samsung phones are able to run Android apps on the phone from within the PC. Screen mirroring to the PC too.

You can currently view some notifications and reply using the PC which is handy but just a bit more integration like the Samsung devices would be nice. And NO, I shouldn't have bought a Samsung phone, the Xperia is a fantastic phone 😁

Hey there,

Sadly so far Sony only got Xperia companion, and it's mainly used to perform a software repair among other simple tasks: https://bit.ly/3OPEOuq.
Will they introduce a better app in the future for connectivity between Xperia devices and PCs? Hopefully, I mean they did release imaging edge for camera with multiple versions, and one of them is geared towards PCs, so hopefully a similar one comes for Xperia phones as well.
