Xperia 5 IV excruciating app killing

Hey dear Sony community,

I'm a happy owner of Xperia 5 IV (XQ-CQ72)

Using the phone for about half a year and absolutely love it.

There's ONE issue which I'm starting to be extremely annoyed with.

I need to switch quickly between apps during my work sessions and the system is killing them almost immediately after I switch it. It means longer loading and sometimes unsaved progress.

I know the Samsung's Snapdragon sucks and inclines towards overheating.

But isn't there some trick to this?

Suspend execution for cached apps in developer options does absolutely nothing either on default or enabled.
