If there is no picture in the display, I'm afraid that you won't be able to get any data out of the device as it needs to be unlocked.

Actually ma'm, this is technically possible.

forexample

i got no screen on my xperia and i just bypassed it by adb commands.

Technically in xperia's kernel and also android's vulnerability problem is = 'recovery mode'

When you put your phone in recovery mode with few key combinations you force your phone to accepts all adb-commands.

Of course you have to know where is your files location (bkz: media/)

If you know all of these, you can bypass your phone to recovery && force it to accept all your adb-commands.
