Mms problems with Xperia z1 using Bell canada

Been doing lots of reading and trouble shooting. No solutions so far and hoping someone knows what is going on. Have called Bell tech support twice and still no solutions. I can't send or receive mms even with the right apn settings.

Do you have a data plan?

Is your data on?

Do you have any taskiller? antivirus? battery app? ram app?

which APN settings do you currently have?

Data and plan are on. No anti virus. No battery or ram apps.

Apn settings are standard Bell settings according to their techs.

Very frustrating experience so far...

Have those same settings. Tried a few times. Still saying message not downloaded and queued for sending.

I've tried it with both WIFI on and off.

Got a new Sim card today. Same two messages when I try to send mms. Regular texts work, Internet 4G works, calls, etc. Everything except for mms... Can't send nor receive.

and are you certain that you have the correct APN settings?

re-install the latest update with SUS or PCC and check again

It's been a week or two, finally had a chance to follow the steps above. Completed my backup and restore to factory. Restored again, however, same problem persists.

I've checked my APN settings. Every single thing on this phone works perfectly except for sending and receiving MMS picture or videos. Regular texts work. Any other ideas? Will the local Sony style store be able to handle warranty claims?

My apologies. It now works. The restore helped me get Gmail and Google drive working as the factory didn't use my data, only WIFI. It was strange.

I called Bell again and they sent a bunch of test settings to me. It now works!

Hi. I am in Australia with Telstra and have the same issue with MMS not receiving or sending. My APN is set to Telstra.MMS
