Sony NV-U73TW Sat Nav

Hi all.

I am trying to use my sat nav which I have not used for a few years but it is not connecting with any satellites. I have gone onto Sony website and downloaded an update to my computer but it downloads as an application which when I try to open it the computer says (Window cannot find copy w.exe ) so I sent an email to Sony who suggested I take it to a certain pc repair shop for repair but they don`t do sat nav repairs. I have also tried the reset button on the sat nav but no joy. Can anyone suggest how I fix it or know of a sat nav repair shop in Medway Kent as iv`e googled repair shops but Google just keeps loading more search sites.

Sorry for the long rant.

Microsoft® Windows® 2000
Microsoft® Windows® XP
Microsoft® Windows Vista®

Thank you for the quick reply. So because I keep my computer up to date with Windows 10 I cannot update my sat nav, that's a bummer. Pity Sony don't keep up to date LOL.
