Popping/Cracking Noise

There is a cracking/popping noise on the left headset. It seems in the past, all the way back to 2018 and prior, people have complained of this problem so I would have thought Sony would have fixed this problem by now through an update. I am a Court Transcriber so moving away from my computer is not an option. There are no other bluetooth devices around my headset. I have tried all of the troubleshooting from the questions from 2018 and prior. Help! I didn't pay close to $300 for this.

Hi,

I think it is normal to hear some cracking or popping noise when using the noise cancelling even if it is from only one side. I think you can try to reduce this by optimizing the noise cancelling as shown in the link from Sony here.

Just as a reference, it was mentioned in one of the links that this can happen on one ear due to the changes in the ambient environment as each side functions by it's own. You can find this link here as well.
