sony WF-1000XM3 case not charging/no light

I can put the case on charge and charge the earbuds(and no red light will be on the case)

but as soon as i unplug the case the earbuds stop charging and the case cannot take any charge and is stuck at 5% on the app

I've tried updating and resetting neither have worked...

Hi @wmcallister044,

If you already updated the earphones and reset them, you can try to initialize it as a last option: https://bit.ly/3h7TpSz. Also, maybe try a different cable.
If it's the same, I recommend contacting Sony at this point, as it might need repair.
