Recently bought this micro hi fi - second hand.

Love it; in the main plays very well but quite fussy about CD quality - doesn't tolerate scratches or marks on CD's well.

One problem has arised - the centre plastic piece which sits with CD when playing (such is my audio system knowledge I have no idea what this piece is called - about diameter of a 1 pence piece; perhaps 3 x as tall . .?) This centre piece has come loose and each time I remove a CD it is stuck inside it.

Any ideas if this piece can be stuck back down safely and, if so, best glue/sticking material to use?

while I can't answer your question, I think the thing in question is called 'spindle'.
