i have a Sony rcd w100 basically the left side the player using commercial CDs I can play two straight through no problem, on the third or forth cd half way through a random track it goes straight from that one to the middle of another one. Turning the player off for a few minutes and turning it back on it’s plays the cd all the way through and the next then does a random skip again. I’d like to repair this problem as I love the recorder. I did contact Sony they said it’s to old to repair.

Hopefully someone in the community will be able to offer you some tips to help. Good luck!

Best wishes,
