Is there any way you can record videos in upright/vertical/portrait angle on the action cam, how you would record on a smart phone with 2 black bars on either sides?

using the full sensor but not in 16:9 way but in upright/vertical/portrait way.

anyone got any answers?

Hi there Muffin1511,

you can turn the camera sideways like I did in this video:

You though need a video editing software with the function of turning a video and also export it at a 9:16 aspect ratio.
