Q2: How to make idiot "Notes on use" and alike NEVER to pop up on-screen?

Looking in the manual, it mentions the following:

"The touch panel cannot be operated underwater. Use the buttons of the

camera to perform shooting or playback operations."

So ideally I would recommend changing it to UW mode before.

The option of "In-Camera Guide" is found under the "Viewing" settings which can be switched off.

Page 22/23 should give a guide on how to get there.

Thank You for info.

I do change to UW-mode before dive. But as we know, this camera has 3 ops for UW White Balance; Auto, Blue and Green Water. This would be nice to change under water. Now I dive with Auto.

In my camera there is no option in menu to turn off "In-Camera Guide"...
