DSC-W800 not charging

Hi, long time since I've tried this camera and so pulled it out of drawer to charge it up. Can't remember how I charged it before but I have a usb cable and a separate sony mains adapter unit which the usb plugs into. Connecting this up I get no charge light showing on camera. Tried replacing fuse on mains unit, nothing. Tried connecting usb to anchor power block and computer usb, nothing. I am thinking maybe the battery is kaput. Anything else I could try do you think? Thanks

Have you tried a different cable?

If this doesn't work as well I would agree that the battery might be defect.
