Sony DSC RX100M3 -No Card message

Hi,

I was using the camera today with no problems. Shot a few stills and then whilst shooting a small section of movie it stopped. I've recovered the files from the card by inserting into my pc but I'm getting a flashing orange message on the camera now saying 'No Card' I removed the card and inserted another thinking the card was the problem but I get the same message.

Any ideas please?

In a majority of cases the manual (troubleshooting) offers you a solution.

I'd try 2. and 3. for a start.

Thanks Strampke. I tried both of those but they didn't work. However, the issue has resolved itself. I was out yesterday in rain and wind and the camera was kept in my jacket pocket when not in use. I have a feeling that it developed some condensation internally and that was stopping the card contacts recognizing the card. I removed the battery and the card overnight and left the door open. This morning the camera can read the card and is working normally.
