Sony Hi8 several videos on single period of time.

I have a problem with one of my Hi8 cassette. there are about three or four videos on the same period of times.

sometimes I can watch one video and hear another at the same time. sometimes it plays the other video with another sound.

I have converted the video to a computer file. I would like to be able to arrange this problem and having three or four videos with their sound correctly.

did anyone encounter such a problem?

If you play the tape directly on your camcorder, are the sounds mixed? If they are not mixed
I think you need to re-record the tape and create independent files for each different shot.
Before transferring the whole tape when the first shot is saved on your computer, watch and listen to this first file to see if the problem still persists
