My Sony HX9V has a multiconnectivity port type 3b. I think this is the same as a mini HDMI port, but what type? mini HDMI C or mini HDMI D?

Welcome at the Sony Forum.

Your DSC-HX9V has a mini HDMI connector and a multiconnector type 3b.

Multiconnector 3b means: AV-out/USB/DC-in connector.

This can be used with a VMC-MD3 cable, see at our website accesssoiries http://www.sony.nl/product/dsc-h-series/dsc-hx9v/tab/specialaccessories

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. It's just I don't need all the different outputplugs, I just need a HDMI cable between the HX9V and my TV. I already found out that the mini HDMI type C doesnt fit on the HX9V. So I guess that it's mini HDMI type D. I'm going to change my HDMI-mini HDMI-C cable to a HDMI-mini HDMI-D cable. Hopefully will that solve my problem.
