Can anyone hlep. I have bought a new pc and want to transfer my library onto it and I don't know how to. Also I have downloaded a Kobo book and cn't get it onto my reader !! Any suggestions??

Which reader do you have?

Have you installed Adobe Digal Editions on your new PC?

I've got the PRS-350. I've installed Adobe I'll try and see if its the up to date version!

Make sure Adobe is authorised to the correct ID

Also when you plug in your reader does it appear on your PC? Does is show up in Adobe Digital Editions

To move your books over you could either redownload them or put them on a memory stick and just copy them to your new PC

As for the book from Kobo, what exactly is the issue. Need a bit more info to help.

With the 350, if you install Calibre, I think you can just purchase it from Kobe/Smiths via your PC, click Save to File rather than Save to Reader, it'll download into your d/load pop-up, then you can simply Drag 'n Drop dtraight into Calibre Library, and transfer to device.

Just plug the 350 straight in, no registering etc... needed, they just introduce themselves, and you're away.

I have never bought from Kobo, I know the old Smiths site was so clunky I gave up on it - I have looked at Kobo, but it seems no better than a lot of other shops....
