PRS-T1 Folderview

I have hundreds of books organized in folders and I would very much like to keep this folder structure and have the PRS-T1 access the folders and look through them as they are.

The PRS-T1 however uses TAGS and doesn't support folders.

I find these tags extemely annoying and I WANT to be able to watch my books in my folders.

SONY: Please upgrade this product so it supports folder view, since it's running on Android Linux, an operating system already supporting folders, this is easy to support.

Sony has never added functionality to existing readers, so your request is likely to go unheeded.

However the T1 has been rooted, so google is your friend. Not sure if it gives you folders but its worth a look

Re: the root route - be aware of your Warranty, & the Sale of Goods Act conditions ..........

( Sorry to be a wet blanket, but any problems caused [moderately rarely, admittedly] probably ....umm .....fall outside the scope, shall we say. )
