Hi All,

I do not have a mains charger for my PRS-505, I have always got by charging off my PC but have just been given a mains charger from a friend surplus to their requirments.

The charger requires a USB connection so would use my Sony USB cable to connect to a mains supply. The chargers specifications is as follows, Input voltage AC 100-240V - Input current 0.15 A (Max) -AC charger frequency 50-60 Hz - Charging outout (single socket) DC5V 1A

I have read online that we need to be careful what type of charger to use so wondered if this would be safe. Any help would be greatfully recieved.

Alan

Basically, if it's the right plug, it will probably work - all except anything Apple -y, which may cause problems.

Try it, and if it charges, it's OK .

But, you could check Check out the wiki page on compatible wall chargers.

Thios is for the T1 but I should think there'll be a similar for most reader models, just go Search - Google first, and proceed from there.
