After searching through a lot of Q&amp;A in the community I found a solution.</P><P></P><P>Download and install DAPlayer from here <A class="loading" href="http://www.digiarty.com/" title="http://www.digiarty.com/">http://www.digiarty.com/</A></P><P></P><P>I checked it out with Norton, whch says it is OK</P><P></P><P>Once installed I changed the boot settings in W8 to USB or CD then restarted.</P><P></P><P>PC asked to press a key if CD or USB boot was required.</P><P></P><P>I did this but only a normal PC boot was available.</P><P></P><P>However, once booted up, lo and behold, my BD player was back in play.</P><P></P><P>Amazing.</P><P></P><P>Hope it works for you.</P><P></P><P>My thanks to the person who placed this original fix.
