New Vaio - trying to use skype, camera not working

Hi just bought my first Vaio yesterday, pre loaded with windows 8. I have tested the camera and its working, but when using skype, the square where I should see myself or the recipient can only see bright green, any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks

Hi,

This seems to be a problem with 'Skype for Metro' App on all makes of PC and Skype are looking at it. I'm sure there will be an update at the App Store soon.

However, the problem is just with Metro Interface - I think you will find that if you download the 'Skype for Desktop App', and use that everything will work OK.
