Sony has continued its policy of making basic rotation impossible in its Z series laptops. DONT BUY THIS IF YOU NEED TO WORK IN PORTRAIT MODE.

The new , very expensive Z series is not able to perform such a basic task.

It takes a climb up the hierarchy of trouble shooting, "two tier" "three tier", long waits, lots of frustration, to establish that there is no hope.

Also, a simple Mac Pro has better display resolution than the HD display of the z series, by a wide margin.

In a brand new Sony Z, the image bleeds color. In the Mac it is crsip.

The Mac sots $1000, the Z well over $2000.

Bewildering!

This concernces not only the Z Series - ok even more its a shame for such an expensive system - but i would expect that from any laptop with an advanced graphic board inside....
