I am looking for VAIO Gate on my newly acquired VAIO PRO 13 -

I have tried the tip at http://www.sony-mea.com/support/faq/523308 but I cannot see the Vaio Gate Apps. How do I get to see this tool?

Hi AA2e72E and welcome.

Are you looking for Vaio Gate in Desktop Mode? It can't be seen on the Metro UI.

Tap the 'Desktop' Tile or try the keyboard shortcut 'Windows Key + D'.

I am looking for VAIO Gate in desktop mode i.e after Windows + D, I push the cursor to the top of the screen and nothing pops out. And I cannot find C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Gate on the VAIO Pro.

On my Sony Windows 7 laptop, C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Gate exists and the Gate is displayed when I push the cursor to the top of the screen.

I would like to have this feature on the Windows 8 Vaio Pro. What can I try next?

Looking at the Specifications of the Vaio Pro, it seems Vaio Gate is not installed.
