Hi - Recently got Vaio SVE17 and seem to have got "Dalesearch" running over google

I am struggling a bit with Windows 8 and the new laptop as I am not a techie 😞

Suddendly something called Dale Search seems to be hijacking the Google search box. I have "uninstalled" from the control centre, but it keeps coming back even though it is now not listed as a programme

I never got as far as doing the back up discs

Any ideas as to what I should do from here - if I ask it to use Google as the default search engine it does so for a while then Dale Search reappears 😞

For details on how to remove the browser hijacker ‘Dale Search’ have a look at the following link…

If that doesn’t prove to be of help you can always return your notebook to ‘As Delivered’ by pressing the ‘Assist’ key when full shut down and then selecting ‘Recover or Maintain Your System’. Be aware that all personal data will be lost.
