Graphics Card Replacement for a Sony Vaio VGX XL301 Media Centre

Hi I wonder if any one can help My Nvidia Geforce 7600 gtl Graphics card is broken does anyone know where i can find a replacement that will fit in my Sony Vaio Vgx xl 301 Media Centre it seems to have it own heatsink on it ,

Hi Robert,

I have no direct experiance but a Google suggests that a number of VGX-XL310 owners have upgraded to an AMD Radeon HD6670. Available on Amazon for £58.97. Google "HD6670 graphics card Vaio VGX-XL301" for AVS forum posts.

Hi Rob,

I also have a VGX-XL301 and I'm currently running a HD6670 although I wish I had of bought the HD7750 as the HD7750 uses less power and performs better.

Here is a list of the current most popular GPU's some are fanless (silent), some cheaper and some more powerful. It all depends on your budget and what you want to use your XL301 for.

For Graphics and Gaming Graphics I get a windows index score of 7.1 the HD7750 gets 7.4
